Sally Richards purchased The Fitz Like A Glove™ Ironing Board Cover online in 2006.

Then she purchased another one yesterday as a gift for her son, Tim.

Intrigued by the email address Sally used, I checked online to see if it’s possibly a business.

If yes, what does she do?

And came across her site lovingly devoted to her 24 years old disabled son, Jackson West.

And her husband, Mac, who she loves dearly. And is Jackson’s devoted father.

Along with the trials and tribulations of a family life complicated by disability.

Complete with those heroic moments when life triumphs over everything.

And the achingly low moments when #@!$ happens.

And in Sally’s words, you have no option other than to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward.

To show what Jackson’s really made of, Sally’s uploaded a 13 minute video clip of Jackson’s appearance with Liz Hayes on Sixty Minutes called Beating the Odds.

Sally’s remarkable life is also a story on its own.

Go have a look at Jackson West.

Sally and her son, Tim, have composed a very uplifting, inspiring, moving, enriching and heartening site. Believe me. You’ll become absorbed in its content. I’ve absolutely no doubt you’ll visit it often.

Because you might just be that one in a million, perfectly suited person, to make THE contribution that will change a life. Or know someone who can.
